You nailed it. I was born in America, but I now live in Dumbfuckistan. This transpired in my lifetime. I am no doubt partly to blame. An over simplified perspective is that in America, everything that endures long enough devolves into an industrial complex. We have a very profitable Political Industrial Complex. Good luck trying to dismantle that!
