Sean, your comment about blacksmithing may be pointing you in a potentially helpful direction. Not that craft specifically, but the idea of taking up something that involves your brain directing your hands in a new learning experience, and the reverse of that happens, also. The hands demand the brain engage. You did not mention painting or sculpture, pottery, etc. Those skills can be captivating experiences. The key to not lose track of is that when we undertake these arts and crafts, the outcome is our expression, our interpretation, not to be compared with the output of someone else. I discovered this treasure using iPad as my canvas for drawings. I shocked myself with how good I was. And then, there is the option of restoring a classic auto. Talk to me about that one.
