Not that craft specifically, but the idea of taking up something that involves your brain directing your hands in a new learning experience, and the reverse of that happens, also. The hands demand the brain engage. You did not mention painting or sculpture, pottery, etc. Those skills can be captivating experiences. The key to not lose track of is that when we undertake these arts and crafts, the outcome is our expression, our interpretation, not to be compared with the output of someone else.
