My personal observation of a strong and typical Biden supporter, and this includes friends and family, are the people who are in the top 20% percentile and are getting and seeing exactly what they want for themselves. They hold fast to the personal practice that “they are not their brother’s keeper” and do not want to see, hear from, or feel responsible for people beneath their socio-economic status. Their cruelty is unconscious instead of intentional like “conservatives”. But it is still a form of cruelty.
